About Us

Tulum Airport (IATA: TQO | ICAO: MMTL), formally referred to as Aeropuerto Internacional de Tulum or Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport, is under the ownership of the Mexican government and overseen by SEDENA — GAFSACOMM S.A. DE C.V.

The inaugural ceremony for Tulum International Airport took place on December 1, 2023. The historic event marked the arrival of the first flight, Viva Aerobus VB9360, originating from Felipe Angeles Airport in Mexico City. The flight landed in Tulum, Mexico at precisely 1:15 pm, carrying 179 passengers.
